Hello I have a budget of 315 pounds to buy myself a mobo a processor and some ram. Can anyone give me some advice on what stuff you would reccomend buying? thanks
damn thats heavy apparently in GBP that is about 600 bux you could probably buy a nice athlon 3800 skt 939 mobo combo for less than 400 and then about 200-230 for 2gb of ddr400 ram

It would probably be best to buy 4 of those to get it working in dual channel

You want to be very wary buying from abroad. Remember to add VAT at 17.5% onto any foreign purchases.
