I hate these lists.Countries with a small population are always going to win.

Find one where it lists how much money is spent on alcohol in total, not per capita.
In Ireland a beer cost €5. Not cheap. In Czezh Rep. it costs the equivalent of €0.70.

#4 WOOOOOO! Im going to drink to that RIGHT NOW!

Why the asterix though....?
What the hell?
I wanted to answer that question with a quote from the wiki-page that said "Note that Darwin, Australia, has the highest beer consumption of any city in the world at 230 L/y.". I thought that was what the asterisk was for.

When I clicked the link again to copy and paste that line it suddenly said "Note that Essen, Germany, has the highest beer consumption of any city in the world at 230 L/y." Did any of you fuckers edit that?

Ever heard of the city Budweis? There's a brewery there that produces Budweiser. The real one, not the American. An excellent beer.

At the bottom of the page it says:

"Note that Essen, Germany, has the highest beer consumption of any city in the world at 230 L/y"

Isn't that way more than any of the other countries, or am I wrong :\
