he probably has never met a navy pilot. i was not kidding when i said in another thread that navy pilots are effeminate. i did not believe what other people were saying or joking about until i met with some navy pilots. even a guy who flew with the RAF noticed it too.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

there not that many navy SEALS out there, only a few hundred id imagine. You cant keep bringing up the SEALS everytime you trash talk the navy, because there the small exception.
Well when I spent time in Baghdad back at the begining of the war the only pilots I saw were the ones dropping off my equipment pallets and some luggage. But those were C-5's and C-130's. Not Fighters. Maybe some refueled there but not a permanantly assigned Fighter Squadron at all.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:
what threw me off about that cat was when he said he spent time in baghdad. I am really almost %100 sure that there would be no Airforce pilots lounging around in baghdad, I rarely saw any airforce personell when I was there, and they werent pilots.bigelectricat wrote:
that was exactly my thought about 1stLt.MikeUSAF. none of the pilots i know matches his attitude and they certainly dont spend much time playing video games. their profile in personality does not match his. none of them would ever discuss being a pilot like this kid, 1stLt.MikeUSAF, who claims to be in the military.USMCkilla wrote:
I am a E-5 in the United States Marine Corps. I am stationed at Camp Lejeune NC with 1st Battalion 2nd Marines Charlie company weapons platoon. I am a 0311/0351 Anti tank Assualtman. That means I am a regular grunt but I can also fire the SMAW and Javelin. I have made three tours to southwest Asia and am currently working up for another. Oh and 1stLt.MikeUSAF my brother in law is a F-16C pilot in the Air National Guard and I had him read your post's in the past and this one and he says you are full of shit and none of your post make sense. He thinks you are a kid reading allot of books about something and then posting a bunch of lies. I personally thought you were full of BS but couldnt prove it. I am now sure of it after talking to him.
Tonga, Solomons, East Timor, Iraq, Afghanistan...and the army seems to like sending young 2Lts to Bosnia to work with the UN. I've thought about joining the territorials at least, be good to get some military service (even if it is reserves) while I still can...did you see a wee while ago an ACT MP joined? 41 year old lady, cant remember her name. And our navy is tiny, but Helen is throwing a bunch of new boats at it, and we don't have steam-powered warships anymoreTy wrote:
Our Navy is a piece of shit. We sank one of our own boats late last year. Turned it into a dive wreck but a storm last week broke it apart so now it's unsafe for diving. That is a sure sign of a piece-of-shit navy, we have ships that are too crappy to be wrecks.
My mate's in the army, officer training. He's having a lot of fun at the moment throwing grenades and firing LMGs
I suppose with the New Zealand army, joining is not really that much of an exciting thing. Our armed forces arn't exactly the highest priority thing on the government's list. I suppose we're not going to be invaded any time soon anyway. Still, I think that having a month or so 'introduction' to armed forces - get a bit of basic training in and fire powerful guns, (the NZ army uses Steyr rifles at the moment - the 'Bullpup' guns from CS, which is a good change from what they were using not too long ago - M16s left over from Vietnam.)
It would be fun, but as a career? No way. If I was in the US, possibly, but the NZ army can only lead you so many places... what they are I can't even think of right now.
