I'v been looking at this vet status in BF2142 I was wondering, every time I try and add the Vet status it ses soldier in use that must mean that it can't add it to a character u allready using now here is my question,

( as I'm still new to Bf2142 ) If I delite my soldier and then try and register vet status would that work ? also does my stats come back normal with vet status or can it only be addit to a new character?

Or is there a nother way around this ?

Thanks for tip guys

Peace Boris

I think you can add it to a new player if you can still sign up as a vet.
My vet statuse never worked in the first place. Pissed me off

This is what you do. Go to EA vet status site and make sure you login under the account for which your "good" username is attached to. Then it will ask you for the username you want to "save". Enter any random name that you want. If it's a valid name (meaning no one else is using it) then you will continue on through to accepting your veteran status. Next time you start the game you'll notice that the new username (soldier name) is listed under your original soldier name. At this point you can continue to play as your original soldier and you should have BF2 veteran status in the game. You will not however, gain any unlocks or ranking changes. That was a limited time arrangement. Hope that helps. + Karma if you use this please!

Same thing happened with me. I had to go to the EA site and say I forgot my username and they will email you the username and a way to reset your password. Only way I know how. There may be a way to see it in BF2, just can't remember.

Cause you had to use the EA member name you used to sign up as your login name in the game, then when you logged in for the first time your reserved name would be sitting there waiting for you.

If you can't find the name, I think you can use the "I forgot my username/password" on the ea forums to have them send the info to the email you used (do you still have/remember the email you signed up with?).

Hey, I have an idea.
Go on BF2, make a new account, go to the EA veterans site, and sign up with that BF2 account.
Log on 2142, with that account, and voila sir, you have yourself a veteran.

Yeah but if he lready used one accaunt with one copy of bf2142 I think he cant use anohter.

Basicly your problem is that you used one EA accaunt to register for veteran status but when you installed the game you logged in with a different EA accaunt ??? Is that what happened ????

If thats the case than it says that "name is in use" because it was reserved by YOU but for another EA accaunt.

Thats for BF2.

If you kill someone in BF2 and you have 2142 installed on your computer, and you spot the body of the person you killed, you laugh at them ingame.

Actually there supposed to be a victory dance for bf2142 but they removed it from the list what you get if have the veteran status. I guess they didn't get it to work properly so they removed it
