EA couldn't Figure out how make a Incremental Patch, so they made everyone download the Full.
No there is no incremental patch, only the full dl. The patch fixes server crashes..thats it.
Server crashes? My server has crashed only once since 1.4 was released and I have never heard of consistent crash issues from anywhere else because of the 1.4 patch. What the hell is the point of this shoddy rush job of a patch?
Never download incremental... They ALWAYS fuck it up...

They didn't actually fix anything that needed to be fixed. Like the nerfed black hawlk and the nerfed F-35b. And why won't they add reflective team damage?

If it is a official patch, then why can´t I find it at the ea sites. Only found it at gamershell and fileplanet.

has any one noticed when re-configuring your key layouts in bf2 they take ages to recognize you pushed the key?

My guess is it probably fixes some glitches too, they just aren't saying it.
Why wouldnt they tell us if they actually managed to fix some glitches for once? That would be a proud day for EA and DICE...
The only reason that the patch is so large is because they couldn't write an incremental patch (because they ARE so good at it), so they had to add the changes onto the 1.4 full patch and get us to d/l that instead. Doesn't that just sum up EA? They cant even write a patch for a game they couldnt even make right in the forst place...
