this happened yesterday on a titan server (even when i left and when back in - didnt affect anyone else though). Only happened once......

kinda wierd - the whole map seemed to be lacking textures

If it was just you, maybe theres a problem with the 2142 files on your pc.

yeh i was worried, but then i joined another server and it fixed itself. So just some random glitch i guess

It is probably a similar bug to where SLSB sometimes being invisible when it is clearly deployed and marked.

I joined a server the other day... and while I didn't experience this problem there were 3 titans... 2 of them right on top of one another so close together that you couldn't get the gunship out of the lower ones hangar.

I assume it was a random glitch or someone fooling around cause I haven't seen it since

yeah that's happened to me on a few occasions. I only see few textures, making the round unplayable. I had to restart 2142 again to get things working correctly. Don't know why it happens.

luckily for me there was no commander, so i just went commander for the round (it still worked fine). Then I realized it wasnt going to just fix itself, so I quit and restarted and it was all good

Ive had it happen, last time it happened, i was in a server, had to alt-tab to BF2142CC to boot someone, and my pc be the crappy box it is take about 10 minutes round trip, come back, no textures! Ah its like BF2 all over again. Makes me wish BFV still had a community and the controls and weapon performed as well as BF2/2142s...
