because i like battlefield 2 better. Its called personal opinion. maybe you should try it sometime.
no my only other thread was if someone could help me with bypassing my schools game firewall and why type of hardware they used to play 2142.

I refuse to buy it because BF2 is a good game, but Im not going to fund EAs pockets for another game, when they did a shitty job of fixing problems with the game before

If you ask me.. the year 2142 doesn't make sense.. Seems more like 50-100 years in the future..
Just look back 140 years, and the changes that we have made...
I dont like the vehicles in BF2142..
The Battlefield Franchise is all about the vehicles.. thats what sets it apart from other games..
And BF2142 just doesn't do it for me..

1. Simple played 2142 demo= Sucked, not any content or game play worth spending my time on.
2. Also, All i hear about is all the buggzz and glitching b/c 2142 was written on the basic code for BF2, with out any of the patch work to make it work. ( although some of the nerfing has taken away from some BF 2 content>>>>> BlackHawk/ Transport Helo are not a fighting platform )

Yea BF2 is personally my favorite game of all time. I love it and think it is a perfect game and instead of making a new game why not just improve upon BF2 with a new expansion. "not made by dice"
the air-vehicles aren't to my taste and I simply love BF2

I disagree about that the air-vehicles suck in 2142 , i can do 10-15 kdr without much effort in 2142. And not get TK for the gunship like in vanilla, where 5 guys would shoot you.
it has some good ideas that maby a update or a like 10 dollar update to add more unlocks to BF2 would be a cool idea but not a new game it is just a mod of BF2
i play 2142 a little bit, but i prefer bf2, its less buggy, and overall just feels better
Bf2 is better than ever, all the n00bs have moved to 2142. Too bad there are less full servers and hard to find all the maps. But often when i play over 50% of the server are high rankers. A lot of great team work, less team killing for vehicles and smacktarding.

iv played 2142 like once or twice at a lan cafe i actully got board of it in about 20 mins.... an im amazed that a game was realesed with more bugs then bf2Blehm98 wrote:

what the fuck was with the huge patch 1.3 - 1.4 delay about then they said they were concentrating on bug proofing 2142 they fail at everything
Because the game on low settings run like shit on a 32 man server, let alone 64, while on BF2 I play on high, with medium lightning and low shadows with out any lag on a 32 man server ..
yeah I still play bf2 never got 2142, still a lot of people are playing bf2 but you can see the number of servers went down and the number of players is decreasing. I still have fun playing bf2 so as long as I have fun, Im keep playing it .
all the most dedicated players are still playing bf2, so if anything the games getting more difficult and more fun
