Personally I think 2142 is a great game except for the cheap exploits. But I still think BF2 is a better and more fun game. Yet I have not played BF2 at all in weeks. Why, you ask? THE DAMN UNLOCKS!!! There's 40 unlocks, and you move up the ranks fairly quickly compared to BF2. All I ever want is to get that next gadget or upgrade, it's so freaking addictive. I don't think I would be nearly as addicted to 2142 if it weren't for all the unlocks. What do you all think?

THERS NO WAY i wouldnt play without unlocks, id would be the same thing all over from BF1942/Desert Combat.
Unlocks are about half of why i play BF2142, to reach new peaks of exellence.
Or, to reach new pwnige of teh camp gibraltar. Bf2142 is so addictive i dont sleep much anymore.

i definately would, especially if all the other stats, badges, pins etc remained - they are also addictive
