I know windows XP only recignises 3.75gb of ram so will vista regignise a full 4gb or maby even 32 GB ofram. I know some mobos support up to 32GB of ram!!! ITs just a quastion so dont flame me
My suggestion is go to Microsoft's website and search for the information there. If I knew the answer, I would answer it.
Good luck.
Good luck.
32 GB of ram, dont u mean 32 GB HD, 32 GB RAM is kind of high for any computer any less you have a super computer which costs a lot of money. Have not seen a PC running 32 GB of ram, but anywho u must mean HD.
What the hell could you possibly need 32Gb of RAM for?
Some mobos support upto 32Gb of ram. I am talking a bout ram. u might need 32GB of ram in say the next 8 years. but its just a question i dont mean HDblademaster wrote:

I'm afraid it's not looking so good for Vista:

After a few touches we were ready for the rock and what I call the role. Well our test machine was powered with 4GB OCZ PC3700 gold memory but Vista 32 bit won't recognise nor address more than 3.25GB.
Servers, like chuy's sever, use up to 32GB RAM.
Vista doesn't recognize or address more than 3.25GB?

if you are running the 32 bit version of vista the. 3.75 GB restriction will still apply. if you run the 64 bit version (but you need a 64 bit proc), vista will be able to run nearly endless amounts of ram
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Ok Vista Memory limits Via Microsoft
Windows Vista 32-bit has an upper limit of 4GB.
Windows Vista 64-bit has an upper limit of 128GB.
Windows Vista 32-bit has an upper limit of 4GB.
Windows Vista 64-bit has an upper limit of 128GB.
i want that........
I am pretty sure after SP 2 XP can use 4 gig's of ram it just only shows less because some of it is allocated to virtual memory. Also 64 bit and Pro should utilize it more efficiently. I have vista on another machine and yes, it is a memory hog.doc. josh wrote:
