Ok,  in a previous topic i read something when you cpu usage is @ 100% while playing BF2,  then that could be a bottleneck?.
I have a 3700+ clocked to 2.7 ghz,   and even on this speeds i get 100% usage while playing,  is this normal?
i never ever seen different,  so please explain.

No, you either have bad ram or not enough.
(Ram is what takes the work off your cpu.)

As above mate the only times your PC will bottleneck in that situation is either bad memory or not enough  ..  or if you are running applications in the background when playing BF2

If you are running stuff in the background it might be time to invest in a Dual Core Cpu

Only partially correct. The software end of things can mean every bit of difference. Starcraft is reported as utilizing '100%' of my Athlon 64 3500+'s resources while connected to battlenet, yet I have 2GB of RAM, and there is plenty to spare.

True, but using BF2 as a common denominator I am able to determine that memory is the problem conclusively.

Well,  i also have 2 gb RAM,  some Corsairs XMS with LED's,  so there pretty good.
Also when playing games after a format,  my cpu is always @ 100 %
never thought much of it.
I just tried 3Dmark05,  and got a score of 12800,  so i really dont know what i could be,  if it is a problem?.

well, if you fps is good, and everything else is peachy, i think your set. probably some glitch in the motherboard somewhere or something.

and im impressed at those 3dmark scores...i have a very good setup (P4E @3.4, 2GB Corsair XMS2 (same as urs with the LEDs), x1900xt 512, intel mobo..) and only get around 4k 06 scores and about 7k 05....your vid card must be beast.

My graphic card is roughly the same,  i got a 1900 xtx,  but my whole systems is overclocked,  so im guessing that my do the trick.
Also when i use Catalyst Control Center my scores go down with 3000,   so try to use the old control center by ATI,   it realy makes a difference
