Extremly dark?

G'day,

Well I bought 2142 today...and I've noticed that the titan landings and some parts inside, for me, are extremly dark. Is this normal? My settings are all low, and the brightness on my screen is set to max (although, the screen is 400 years old..). It just annoys me because I land on the titan...people start shooting , I look around and cannot see where its coming from... almost all black besides some detail.

Is it normal or can it be fixed by playing around with settings?

Crank your gamma setting up a bit, that'll fix it.

Gamma setting you say? I see none in 2142 or in my screen settings

yeah, 2142 doesn't have a damn gamma setting that I can see. If anyone knows how to turn up the gamma I'd really appreciate it. I don't want to mess with my screen brightness because that's accurately calibrated.

Eh, just found my gamma settings in ATI catalyst...turned it up slightly (so it didn't interfere too much with the look of other progs...ill try it out

the point is I don't WANT to mess with my gamma settings for the rest of the time, why the hell doesn't BF have it's own goddamn gamma? Is there no config file i can mess with?

Its not the gamma.

Change your lighting setting (video options) to at least medium and all will be revealed once you enter the dragon sorry titan.
