BF2 doesn't let you go over 100 fps in-game, if that is what you're talking about...
Yeah it does, there is a code to type in, in the console that overrides it.
I've found it guy's, it's game.lockFps 999 if anyone's interested.

With GPU temperatures below 50°C you'll hardly notice any change, but a 120°C GPU can indeed warm your feet!

Yeah, whats up with wanting to have more the 100 FPS?, i always set mine on 50 FPS, so i ALWAYS get a constant FPS, no matter which map or players or when theres tons of things happening at once.
Gameplay is always smooth.
So when you set it as high is would go, lets say 180 FPS, and there are things happening on your screen, your FPS will drop, and that drop can be noticed.
and these drops are there maybe 25 times a minute -> LAG

Cosworth is right, skipping around between 300 and 600 FPS isn't as good as a steady 100.
