You know that file your referring to may not even have anything to do with the game at all, it may just be leftover rubbish that is no longer needed.

i just changed a heap of them and went into karkand and none of them were awarded to me, like pistol and explosive reqs, armourd service ribbon and so on.

No I checked it out and the req. for the ribbons are still 5h and no BR or anything is mentioned.

All ive learned from this thread is that Titanium achieved the ribbons that i so incredibly desire and props to him.  I highly doubt he went into any coding and would put money on it that he discovered it based on pure luck and gaming. Congrats Titanium, and if anyone has info on them please post it as Im starting my mission to figure them out also.

And finally today I got a best round of 81 as SAS and boom there is the ribbon...(OH YA BABY)

HMMM... THIS IS INTERESTING CONSIDERING THOSE RIBBONS ARE CODED TO BE LOCKED... NOW WHAT I THINK U DID WAS REMOVE A FEW LINES OF CODE CHANGE THE REQS AND BAM U GOT THE RIBBONS. BECAUSE THOSE RIBBONS ARE CODED TO BE LOCKED WHICH MEANS NOT ACCESSIBLE WHICH MEANS U CHANGED THE CODE TO MAKE THEM AVALIABLE

You know, I'm getting tired of this weasel popping her pimple-faced mug into every thread.  Odd that in order to get recognized the server has to also have the uncommented lines of code.  Man, I'll be glad when school is back in session so little scruffy tots like Gina here are back in their basement with theit Penthouse magazines.

i live in fl srry no basements here and ill still post when school goes back.. u know there is internet access in schools now... and i have my psp which i can post on... so just stfu and deal with me posting

umm guy s if you check the accounts of other guys who have the awards its more likely to be 'Time in Theatre ' than hours in service.

It looks to me more likely that you have to have 90 hours on the MAPS with those factions on to obtain the awards .. anyone noticed that usually if a guy has 1 faction ie spetz he usually has SAS aswell (for player s who play Ghost town a lot) and teh otehr guy I have seen had Seals and MEC again these 2 are linked  and again he had a lot of time spent on 1 or 2 maps with just these factions on. I am willing to bet you only need 5 hours with a faction to obtain the award as long as you have played the maps for that faction (even as the oppo) for a set amount of time .. My money is on 90 hours + on that factions MAPS to obtain the awards.

I'm thinking probably. Those commented out entries may just be leftover junk they didn't remove before shipping the game. Real entires could, and almost have to be, somewhere else since people are recieving them.
