So what's the most annoying accent in America? For me.. The South! They just talk really slow... XD And "ya'll" = annoying word. =O

I live in Central Florida. Quite possibly the most undestinguishable accent ever. I will say deep southern accents are my least favorite though.

Southern, hands down. Although a cajun accent can sound kinda cool on fat, old guys. Y'all is irritating, what really gets me is y'all's. How can you have two apostrophes in one word?

Boston accent is 2nd place.

The majority of the US doesnt have really an accent, most of western states, midwest, Florida, and eastern states excluding areas of New York/New Jersey.

Some southern accents arent bad....but some are horrible....so bad you cant understand wtf the person is saying.

My vote goes to south.

Deep south is like the same thing as what most black people use... well they use like the same terms i swear.... but the black people to make it sound better... ill go with hick.

Jersey isnt annoying, its just funny.

I have a very hard to hear southern accent. Some people like it though, I personally hate it.

Wow this makes me feel great. I'm not deep South but I am southern. I don't have the heavy redneck accent and it does get on my nerves like you can't imagine. And yes, I do say y'all.

I find the Southern American accent rather comforting. It reminds me of my decade in Louisiana.

What I find annoying is the Texas accent (ie. the "classic" Cowboy accent) and the manner of speech (though not necessarily the accent) of Southern California.
