For me, i always lock my FPS arround 50 so its constant no mather what,  i think it works great.
and it helps keeping the computer quite,  as i can set the GPU fan rather low, and believe me, that things makes a lot of noise., when it runs @ hmm 50 % ( Ati x1900xtx ).

You are running two 8800's and only playing on 800x600, you sir need a new monitor.

80-100 fps is great, but, v-sync at 75 hertz is in my opinion better then 90 fps no sync'ed

Ya.. I'll be lucky if I can get 50 FPS..


My computer will run at like 60, then 50, then 15, then 10, then 30, then 45, then 12..

Sucks balls.

Getting a New computer for X-mas though..

i get a constant 35-55 fps until i go into a 64 player server with arty and tanks and shit, then its like 20. but thats CPU lag.

on single player i dont go below 90 fps.

all high.

as the game updates there is a piont were the fps will be useless

if the game updates 60 times a second then the  vid running at 100 times a second is missing info on what to render for 40 frames .....one school of thort is if your bulet was in one of those 40 frames then the server isnt told about it and the other guy dosnt get shot :p .then there is the problem of "ripping " the screen image if your monitor cant keep up with the frame rate of the vid card eg:200 fps on a 75 fps monitor then the image stats to distort as its trying to keep up

but 100 fps is nice :p
