do u already own the card? u never know till u test it out. if you don't own it and are planning to buy it, then spend a little more money lol go with like a radeon x1600
i had a radeon x1300 and it worked fine in bf2, never tried it in 2142 since i upgraded to a x1900, so maybe your x1400 will work in 2142
