I've tried 5x now to dl the patch for BF2 and each time it's the same thing.  I get to the connecting to master account server and the game just wont go any further.  On top of that the red #2 that always spins when your waiting for the game to load is now a pointer and no longer a #2.  This is incredibly frustrating and I was hoping you guys could offer some insight.

I've reinstalled each time this way...BF2>SF>1.41

any thoughts? and has this happened to anyone else?

Appreciate any help offered.

I wish people would stop saying this.  I downloaded EA link last night and the patch is not on there.  The only patch I see to download is for 2142.  If it is on EA link, post a screenshot.

EDIT: Be prepared to wait atleast 1/2 hour.

Thanks for all the assistance.  I'll try a few various sites provided above and see what works.  I DL'd the EA lonk as well, and I can't seem to find the BF2 1.41 patch in my games like you show above.  Probably needed to have DL'd BF2 from there for it to show you the patches for that game.
