I'm not too worried just yet.
2005, First Test: Convicts win by 239 runs after losing 20 wickets in the match.
2006, First Test: Convicts win by 277 runs after losing 10 wickets in the match.
I'm sure the English players aren't worried either.

Nice first day total 266 for 3, happy with that
Just like last summer thrashed first test better 2nd test
worried yet aussie's
I'm impressed. It was important that England batted for all of the first day and a half. Looks like they will, and make a good total in doing so.
I might be wrong (I've been away on business and didn't follow much of the game today), but I thought I heard someone say that the pitch should play well for the full 5 days. If so, I think it will be a draw unless England can make the Aussies follow on (not bloody likely).
Good to see Collingwood didn't try to smash it out of the ground on the last ball of the day to get his ton. He got out with a stupid shot last time on 96. England need him to keep a level head and they can build a potentially match winning score.
It's a pity England don't have enough good bowlers....
Edit: PS sorry for the long post, I've had a few
