Best=Fastest+Best handling cobined
You can rice up this crappy Impala my mom had to rent while her car's at the body shop, but crash into a tree and I doubt you'll walk again. Speed and handling are both important in terms of "best" performance, but the "best" car would ideally have great gas efficiency, great speed and handling, great safety, great amenities and driving comfort.
I don't drive, nor do I have some car waiting for me to drive it once I get a license. But out of the cars my family owns, I'll throw this one in:
2005 BMW 530i
Not sure on the full specs, but it's got a nav system, three-level ass heating, and it's just a great car. Out of all the cars we've owned, I'd pick:
2003 BMW 325i
Not the fastest, but its handling was superb and it was just a great car. I'd kill someone (like Saddam or bin Laden, not an innocent kid >.>) to have it for my first car.
