Everything 1 (Low) except
Effects 2 (see grenades, GL smoke, jet wing pressure thingers)
Geometry 2 (how stuff is drawn far away)
View Distance 100 (Just leave it 100 srsly)

WTF do the 2142 Titans have to do with BF2?
I bet you'd get a big FPS boost if you disable SLI & run in single card mode.Mr.Pieeater wrote:
I'm getting anywhere from 45 to 60 fps.
Running at 1600x1200 with Mostly medium settings and no AA.
You can see my setup on the bottom of my sig.

Actually, I only had 1 card for quite a while and was only getting 35 fps average when running 1280x1024 with the same settings. I just recently upgraded to Sli and its great! I would strongly recommend it! I like the high resolution, it makes me monitor worth buying! LOL! Also, I don't really feel the difference between 45 fps and 100 fps, so I like to stick with better graphics. Why do you say so, don't like Sli?reefl3x wrote:

Or lower the res.
I recommend 1600x1200 for really high end cards only.

Bf2 has never been polite to SLI, I actually helped a guy out earlier today. he got a 30FPS boost by disabling SLI on his 7900GT's.Mr.Pieeater wrote:

My friend wants to know his FPS, but I've forgotten how to bring it up again. What's the console command?
My bad, I know, but he's been bugging me.
Or should i tell him to use Fraps?
Only space is between FPS & the 1.

when the doodoo is hitting the fan then it "feels off" (low frames) but when Im on my own it is usually in the 30s to 40s. On the titan though....Im lucky if I get any higher then 4. So to ansure your question, lag when its busy and when on the titan but everywhere else Im fine. Just to be sure I usually run it on mediuam as high and medium look exactly the same.
Oh yeah, mediums = 40s to 70s depending on the activity of what I see

But I suppose the FPS boosts are system specific. If it works run it but I know people who by disabling SLI got a huge FPS boost.
