I haven't unlocked the 100+ FPS thing, so whenever I join it says I am at 100FPS. During artillery it goes down to about 85, and everything else around 99-100.

Effects 2 (see grenades, GL smoke, jet wing pressure thingers)
Geometry 2 (how stuff is drawn far away)
View Distance 100 (Just leave it 100 srsly)

That way you see what everyone else sees except useless shit like grass

They hit 88?
Right on man pulling off 60/15 with this one. Hopefully long distance viewing is good too.

I'm getting anywhere from 45 to 60 fps.

Running at 1600x1200 with Mostly medium settings and no AA.

You can see my setup on the bottom of my sig.

I bet you'd get a big FPS boost if you disable SLI & run in single card mode.
Or lower the res.

I recommend 1600x1200 for really high end cards only.

Actually, I only had 1 card for quite a while and was only getting 35 fps average when running 1280x1024 with the same settings.  I just recently upgraded to Sli and its great!  I would strongly recommend it!  I like the high resolution, it makes me monitor worth buying!  LOL!  Also, I don't really feel the difference between 45 fps and 100 fps, so I like to stick with better graphics.  Why do you say so, don't like Sli?

Bf2 has never been polite to SLI, I actually helped a guy out earlier today. he got a 30FPS boost by disabling SLI on his 7900GT's.

But I suppose the FPS boosts are system specific. If it works run it but I know people who by disabling SLI got a huge FPS boost.

My bad, I know, but he's been bugging me.

Or should i tell him to use Fraps?
renderer.drawFPS 1

Only space is between FPS & the 1.
Yup. Or if you're lazy

R-tab-N-tab-D-tab-F-tab-1-enter

There's a weigh-in with Fraps:
It gives a 'true'er reading - but
It slows down the machine

So to ansure your question, lag when its busy and when on the titan but everywhere else Im fine. Just to be sure I usually run it on mediuam as high and medium look exactly the same.

Oh yeah, mediums = 40s to 70s depending on the activity of what I see

Yea, it was me. Disable SLi it works better

both cards are running but the SLi-ish-ness isn't on. Hard to explain but just trust him lol....

note: although didn't seem to have ANY difference on 2142. Same FPS Sli on or off.

for anyone that wants a giggle

i HAD, 4000+ (939), 2GB ram, 7800GTX factory overclocked(and a little more by me), raptor HDD for windows, and SATAII for games, everything set on max 1600x1200 all smooth (except with 64 man and arty, slight stutter). dropped it down to 1280x1024 all smooth always.

now for the giggle, no job, nice PC now gone, bye bye. so i grabbed this out of the garage

http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?InvtId … p;cpc=SUGG

ripped the case off (and chucked it out) swapped some stuff for a 6600 agp, then realized, IT NEEDS POWER AHHHHH, so hijacked my old 550 PSU to power the 6600 (only). now with dual PSUs i'm back on BF2 lol.

everything on low or off, view distance 100% at 1280x1024 50 to 80 fps, but the real joke is, look at my history/score from NOV 18 (it took me a couple of weeks to get that BF2 twitch) which is when i started using this heap of crap. i hope this make everyone feel much better about their current rig

My Rig:

AMD 3500+
Corsair 2GB dual channelled DDR pc3200 400mhz
Asus 6600gt 128 mb
80 gb HD

If i run it at max resolution and all lows i get hmm, about 60-130 fps, about 80 average, depending on map/size of course.
