Ya Foxconn told me to talk directly to Alienware & Alienware won't gimme anything because I'd have to admit to upgrading my CPU in the first place which would void my warranty & ability to use their tech support. Just got my system up & running with my new mobo though & am running 3DMark06 right now to see if there's a performance difference at stock speeds.The Stillhouse Kid wrote:

Magik, that sucks man. Those Alienware techs sound like they don't know squat(big surprise). A BIOS update would probably do the trick, but God knows if there's one available from them.
