And i have to say, its very cool. Here's my review.
Installation (10/10) Very easy installation. There's no annoying 'generic' blue screen/white writting messages. It's all a very easy interface. And, i would say its much faster at installing. I let it sit and install, played a few games of DDR, and came back it was done.
Quality Of Use (8/10) So far, ive only had it installed for a few hours, but as far as i've noticed, once you get used to the setup it is fairly easy to navigate. Although learning your way around is a bit of a pain in the ass.
Similarities With Mac (6/10) Yes, its true, it does resemble Mac quite a bit, but hey, you always here people bitching about "Fuck microsoft im going to mac" So it shouldn't bother too many people
Security (N/A) Honestly i haven't played around with the security features, but i learned that Vista blocks kernal access to everyone but Microsoft.
Recommend It? (Yes) I would recommend upgrading to Vista at this point. Although i may change my oppinion once i try to put my programs back on.
Price (B.S.) Bullshit. It's nice, but not worth the $200 they want for Ultimate edition. Find a way around it.
At first i was worried that it would suck, and kind of nervous about what the installation would be like, but its very easy.
(And to anyone who is going to upgrade, let me just tell you, when you go to pick a partition, select it and hit "Drive Options" then delete the partition, and make a new one. Vista wont automaticaly overwrite your partition like i thought)
I hope this small review helps if your deciding.
