If the commander can see a sizeable force at the closest CP, and orders them to hit one a little further on that is unguarded - then it makes sense. Its basic tactics and common sense.Mad Ad wrote:

Well this thread at least reveals that the one sure way that everyone decides if the comander is a retard is if, in the SLs opinion, they get told to go further than the next cap point. How the hell do commanders manage with thinking like that? Is it any wonder that they just shut up and play with the uav?
I always do that when SL, and commander too (informing the SL's that it is unguarded of course).
If you can cap flags, then thats a step towards winning (and more points). There is no point getting bogged down in a war of attrition between 2 flags if your teams tickets are already bleeding.
I just did this on IO Warlord for 6 rounds, and won all 6 as a result of me and my squad capping flags all round - taking mostly the unprotected ones, especially as SAS.
