It might be slighty problematic since your disk is full. But if your other option is to sell the drive and replace it I assume you can backup any important data on the drive easily anyway.

There aren't a lot of risks with RAID0 and you tend to get better speeds where it counts having two normal drives striped than you do from a single Raptor. Since you are using Raptors it seems strange that you don't have a RAID setup anyway - runnning single Raptors is, in my opinion, a waste of money - they are great drives, but two worse drives in a striped array will be faster for most things (sustained transfer rate at least) and cost a lot less per GB.

The difference in speed between the 74GB and 150GB Raptors is minimal (the 150s are better, but not by much). The 36GB ones were much slower and less reliable though.

You also have to remember that selling one drive won't get you the full value of a new one, so a 150GB Raptor is, in this instance, a more expensive option.

If you're worried about speed, which since you're using Raptors I assume you are, RAID them. You'll notice massive performance boosts on things like Windows startup times and game loading times.
