I just manually buttraped a virus/trojan/spyware thing(s) in my computer using a cleaning program through safe mode boot and it made my system tray icons tiny, and that whole bar from right to left generally smaller, but my resolution is the same and for some odd reason I cannot find where to make just the icons and bar bigger, not my resolution.  Help needed, when I mean the icons I mean like my internet connection, xfire, etc...

So are you still running in safe mode? That would be my guess, never heard of this before.

Not in safe mode, at least I dont think so :\

After you run safemade if you restart and dont hit anything (for example f8), it will start up normally right...

I think it's just his taskbar icons...
If it's your start menu then it's easy.

Right-click anywhere on the taskbar & select "Properties", then select the "Start Menu" tab, then click "Customize", then click "Large Icons" then ok, apply, etc.

although I have a feeling that's not what your looking for. By system tray you mean the little group of icons to the bottom right, where your running programs hang out sometimes?

And you've tried just rebooting again, right? (have to ask )

if what he said didnt do it which it should . change the resolution to something small then change it back to what you have it at. This happened to me once but it was when my comp shut down because of bad memory.
i didnt change my resolution and it went smaller. even thought it was still set to what i had it at. probably got stuck when we went to safe mode or something
