I just manually buttraped a virus/trojan/spyware thing(s) in my computer using a cleaning program through safe mode boot and it made my system tray icons tiny, and that whole bar from right to left generally smaller, but my resolution is the same and for some odd reason I cannot find where to make just the icons and bar bigger, not my resolution. Help needed, when I mean the icons I mean like my internet connection, xfire, etc...
So are you still running in safe mode? That would be my guess, never heard of this before.
Not in safe mode, at least I dont think so :\
After you run safemade if you restart and dont hit anything (for example f8), it will start up normally right...

right click on desktop and go to appeearance and then click advanced at the bottom then where it says item change it from desktop to icon and then change the size where it says size and has numbers then click ok and apply mines set to size 36
I think it's just his taskbar icons...TheOriginalUberN00b wrote:

If it's your start menu then it's easy.
Right-click anywhere on the taskbar & select "Properties", then select the "Start Menu" tab, then click "Customize", then click "Large Icons" then ok, apply, etc.
although I have a feeling that's not what your looking for. By system tray you mean the little group of icons to the bottom right, where your running programs hang out sometimes?
And you've tried just rebooting again, right? (have to ask )
Can you take a screenshot and post ..would help ..eagles1106 wrote:

if what he said didnt do it which it should . change the resolution to something small then change it back to what you have it at. This happened to me once but it was when my comp shut down because of bad memory.MagikTrik wrote:
