I have just had a phone call saying i have a job interview on friday, but ive never got past the interview stage so could any of you guys give me any tips etc to help me in an interview.

Oh and the job is just some valet cleaning motor homes, i need the money though

It's all about presentation. Dress nice, introduce yourself, shake the persons hand, and kiss ass, that's all there is to it.

Exactly, be shure you be dress nice, really clean, dont forget to shake the person hand, and say what they want to hear.....

Be articulate.

Keep your hands firmly in your lap, sometimes if you 'talk with your hands' it can look intrusive without you even realising it.

The rest is self explanatory really.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.

Be assertive, ie, Don't be nervous with your hands, be condifent in your ability. Let them know about your out of work sports activities and how you enjoy being part of a team and hope you can become part of their successful team. As andoura said above, shake their hand, but give a firm handshake not no limp wristed Pakistani handshake.

Wanna trial run? I employ 9 people and whilst I have never interviewed anyone I know the thingy like.

What do you think you can bring to my company?

How long have you been interested in this kind of work?

There are like 8 parts, all on the right pane there.

She gives a great tip in the intro, something along the lines of:
"Whether the interview lasts 30 minutes more or not, people form their judgement
within the first 4 minutes.

55% Your Visual Impact
-How your dressed
-Body language
-Etc.
38% Tone of Voice
7% What you actually say"

We are just animals, and a big smile and a positive attitude can go a long way in a job interview, especially during their first impression.

Dress for what the job entails, including bringing any sorts of resources your job may expect, tools, etc.
Then just walk in, introduce your self, be confident, and don't be an idiot.

this is very true. So follow everyone's advice and Dress Smart, be polite, Speak in your best voice, and try to know about the job which you are going for.

But dont forget, if you dont get the job it is not a complete loss as you will have gained some experience at interviews.

Be sure to dress nice, be polite, give a firm handshake and when talking do not sit with your arms over cross.
Have them away from each other. When you have your arms over cross they may see you as defensive.
