Well, this is a review for the Zalman 9700 in my friends computer (E6600, eVGA 7900GTO, 2GB OCZ Platinum RAM, etc, etc). Well, he got a new heatsink ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6835118019 ) and it cools like a biznitch . So I told him to get his FSB to 1337, lol, and he did and amazingly... 28 degrees Celsius!! It was quite 1337. My e6400 idles at 34 barely OC'd to 2.4 . So i might get me a Zalman 9700.

This heatsink is amazing, I used it all Winter Break and the OC'd E6600 ( 3.0GHz ) NEVER got above 30 degrees Celsius.
Overall, 9/10
It was great, but the installation was a pain. in. the. ass. It really needs a better mounting system, I cant count how many times I lost a screw whilst installing it.
Installation, 7/10
Like I said above, it was ghey. Lost screws, etc, etc, etc.
Performance, 10/10
28 degrees idle on an E6600 with an OC of 3.0GHz. Whats not to like?
Price, 8/10
60$ isnt too bad, but I dont have it. Its chump change to most people, but not me. Either way, its great for the price.
Get one. Or find a better one, though i doubt u can.
