Hi guys,
I am aware of the official Vista QA thread but I made this thread for 2 reasons:
1. Not many visit the thread anymore;
2. It's a rather annoying problem that some non-vista users may even be able to fix!
So, here's my problem:
On XP, my microphone worked absolutely fine. When I upgraded to Vista, some settings have obviously changed and I don't know what - but now, my microphone/headset does NOT. I can playback sound absolutely fine, it's just speaking into a microphone nobody hears me.
My kit:
Vista Ultimate (32-Bit)
Labtec Headset (Definitely Working)
Creative Audigy 2 ZS (+Vista Beta Drivers)
In Teamspeak, the main place where I would use it. I have these options about my input device:
It is plugged in etc, and it definitely does work. Any help would be much appreciated. I have a feeling it has something to do with 'what u hear' - I had some problem on XP with it as well?
TIA
Kyle.
PS. Note that in the first image, the reason why there is two green bars at the speaker thing is because I am watching a video through my computer so it is detecting the sound (and I hear it fine).
