We can get up there easily before 200 years, but there are a lot of if's involved. I'm speaking on a practical basis for a generous population. A small population could probably be supported in a shorter time than i'm thinking, but to support a decent population is a huge endeavor. It costs a lot to just put the shuttle up, and to keep making trips for supplies and all that, because I can guarantee it will need supplies, will cost an exorborant amount of money. I would seriously be surprised if it happens in less than 200-300 years.Desolater wrote:

lol - Then in that case if he is not claiming it as a nation then he should read the title "Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States......." cuz the whole doc is meaningless to him. and as no government has ever or will ever sign over the whole solar system to one man its like when people originally claimed land (or even now. *cough* Falklands) you have to have troops to back up that claim.
