What you gonna do with the Amazon one?
sell it on ebay...
I'd sell it on Amazon.

More people probably search for Amazon on Amazon.

If hes claiming it under the "1967 UN Outer Space Treaty" then shouldnt he read the bit

Article II
Outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies, is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, by means of use or occupation, or by any other means.
seams quite clear cut.

def. less then 200-300 yrs.  We have a huge earth population and only thing holding us back is money.  If all the countries put money into it we have the technology.  If we can build a space station in space, we can build on a moon with solid ground and SOME gravity to hold stuff in place.
We can get up there easily before 200 years, but there are a lot of if's involved. I'm speaking on a practical basis for a generous population. A small population could probably be supported in a shorter time than i'm thinking, but to support a decent population is a huge endeavor. It costs a lot to just put the shuttle up, and to keep making trips for supplies and all that, because I can guarantee it will need supplies, will cost an exorborant amount of money. I would seriously be surprised if it happens in less than 200-300 years.

lol - Then in that case if he is not claiming it as a nation then he should read the title "Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States......." cuz the whole doc is meaningless to him. and as no government has ever or will ever sign over the whole solar system to one man its like when people originally claimed land (or even now. *cough* Falklands) you have to have troops to back up that claim. Don't think hes made enough to run a space army to protect his claim

How can you own something which you cannot prtect or use?

What's to stop China taking a massive technical leap forward and  inhabiting the moon first? It is a worthless bit of paper.
