My neighbours bought a dog about 1 and a half years ago. It's the ugliest looking mutt I have ever seen, and is also the yappiest dog ever. You thought Yorkies were bad? Anyways... this dog constantly barks. Constant, I mean almost 24/7. They let it outside, and it continuously barks, either at nothing, or at people he sees. He doesn't just bark 5-10 times, then gives up, oh no, he barks for about an hour straight. He wanders around the yard, tiring the hell outta his mouth, and barks. What do they owners do? Nothing. They sit on their fat asses and listen to it. Not only does it bark outside, but inside the house too! Why they don't do anything about it beats me. I forgive them for being not at home and the dog barks, but when they are home, why don't they do anything about it?
We have called the bylaw officers twice. Two warnings in a row. Next time, they get a $500 fine. My family is so tempted to it also. But these people ain't the typical 'poor' family. They own a business, sold the business, and now live rich. That $500 is like $20 for a typical family.
What should my family, and even my entire court, try to do about this? I wanted to buy a pump-action from eBay, but my parents wouldn't let me. We are all sick an tired of this dog, and something needs to be done before we all move out, and they are the only ones left. I feel damn sorry for the new people moving in.
By the way, they also have a cat. It roams across town, and shits in our flowerbed. But that's another story.
