Defensive, everyone dies type of map. This map pretty much everything you do would get you killed, even though, I think it could be a lot of fun.

Map set up:
1. MEC has a triangle, only 3 entrances to it that vehicle's are able to make. The bases are set up on each corner of the triangle with one in the center, very hard to breach, contains all of the commander assets and player controlled artillery. In case you don't understand, Im saying 4 MEC bases, 1 USMC uncapable base.
2. Center of a vast desert, on the one side is a mountain range, this mountain range extends out of the map area, the USMC starts here, base at the foot hills of the mountain, lots of vehicle's spawn here, as well as the airfield.
3. If the USMC catches any of the MEC bases, nothing spawns there for the USMC, they have to get everything from their main.
4. Large map, 10km by 10km sound good? Not pussy shit like BF2 which is 2km by 2km, I want large stuff, like the map in PR which is 17km*17km or something like that.
5. Long view distance, I wanna be able to see from a long way off, I wanna call in arty, start launching missiles, etc.
6. A lot of tickets, 600+ for the USMC side, 350+ for the MEC side. Ticket drain doesnt stop for the USMC until the USMC has 3 bases, ticket drain for the MEC starts when the USMC has all bases.

USMC:
1. Only the USMC has a airfield, and one hell of a big one too, 2 F-18E\F's and 2 F-15E's. Also 2 AH-1Z Cobras and 2 UH-60 Seahawks (its called the Blackhawk in game but really it is a Seahawk).
2. US starts off with a shitload of armor, no pussy shit like HUMMV's or DPV's, LAV-25's and M1A2's, to blow the way through the MEC defenders. And by a shitload I mean 10 LAV-25's and 5 M1A2's
3. Ability to use 2 UAV's if possible to code, a shit load of commander arty, I mean like 10 tubes, not some pussy shit like 3. This is a siege. A lot of firepower.

MEC:
1. Easily defensible area, lots of berms etc. for tanks and others to hide behind. Lots of well protected MG, IGLA, and HJ-8 emplacements.
2. Three or so mobile AA assets.
3. Armor and the mobile AA have a long respawn time, other things such as the HJ-8, IGLA, and Vodniks have shorter spawn times, about 20 seconds.
4. Player controlled artillery.
5. No air assets, nothing, only AA.
6. No FAV's.
7. Supplies recharge slowly.
8. 3-5 tubes of artillery.

*I will probably add stuff as I think of it.*

Maybe someone can actually make this map? I dont know how.

I dunno, but somehow I have this feeling that US would win this too easily...

Everyone would just run towards the hardware and TK each other on the way there. Nah, MEC got it easy.

The idea is intriguing. Sounds fun, like and all out brawl.

To many vehicle's to end up tking for. And about one side to easy, it is very easy for the MEC if they can manage to keep people out of the triangle, but once you have people inside, they're fucked. But with the USMC having all the air power it will be hard for the MEC to keep people from parachuting in while at the same time preventing a breach of the perimeter. I really think this could end up forcing people to use teamwork. The way maps are set up right now you can have everyone go solo and still win, do that in a map like this and your dead. Even if both teams go solo, MEC will lose the small majority though the USMC will take heavy casualties trying to get into the triangle, possibly to the point that no one on their team has a 1.0 or greater k/d ratio for the round.

That would be extrememly difficult to get a parachutist or two to take a flag in and mining the two or three vehicle approaches would make going through them a death trap, along with c4 planted here and there, berms to hide behind and set off.  This would have to be a crazy team game.  And hope that the LAV's could climb the berms and go through there.  Not traditional, but battle never is.

Like the thought, but not this presentation. The US would win. They have all the hardware, basically a piece for every player on the 32-player team, while the MEC has to defend themselves with MGs and Vodniks? How are the MEC even going to take out the tank horde; ever played Armored Fury? The tanks just crowd together with engineers rollin' in each, and voila! Invincible force.

All you had to say is the US gets aircraft and the MEC doesn't.  That right there makes it unfair.  How can you possibly have any sort of chance when there are 2+ planes making bombing runs over and over and over without the slightest chance of being shot down?

No offense, but it seriously sounds like a Jet Whore's paradise.

Sounds kinda cool, but the MEC have to have air support too.  Four US jets will just carpet-bomb the MEC into oblivion.  Even with, say, three IGLA's to go with three Tunguskas, it's going to be pretty one-sided.

I'd give the MEC an airfield on the opposite edge of the map from the USMC base, and give them four Mig-29's.  Just the fighters, no bombers, and no helicopters.  That way the MEC have some way of getting some air cover to protect their fortress, but are less able to just bomb the USMC armour as they close.  Maybe add a couple of buggies to shuttle people to and from the fortress in the middle.

Properly set up and balanced, I think it'd work nicely.  The MEC fighters have to keep the US bombers at bay, the US fighters have to protect the US armour as it closes.  At the fortress there's a shit-load of US armour that has to fight its way past a heavily mined passageway that's got HJ-8's and AT troopers covering it.  The US would probably have to para-drop some anti-infantry inside the walls to be able to make an opening for their armour.

Of course, once they're in the gate, the MEC are fucked!
