You can see the 'dynamic light' coming through the tree tops and the amazing physics that come with the DX10 enabled Crysis. Looks like my investment in a 8800Gtx this summer should be justified!

be able to play DX10 games cuz i herd tht unless its got more then 512mb its no good for DX10 game as the card has to have 512mb????
It'll be able to play the DX10 parts of the game, but it'll probably take a hit to the FPS if you crank the options up.JoshCooper wrote:

Or any 2900 series card. You didn't mention the 8600 or even the 8500, which can both handle DX10.Ryan wrote:

thx god theres no big difference like at bf2s low and high graphics.
I have a 6800GT right now, and I hear that it can do it on the lowest of low settings. But I'm currently waiting for computer parts that I ordered to arrive so I can assemble my rig which is designed for Crysis.M.O.A.B wrote:

I don't really care. DX9 will have all the cool features of Crysis, just a little less sexy.
Yeah. But you can still use Vista and have DX9 as well.(T)eflon(S)hadow wrote:
?. Don't you have to have Vista for DX10 to work?

I hate to ask again, but Ryan, will a 6800 be able to run Crysis? I'm sure it could run low settings.
Is ther not going to be a DX10 version for Xp then?Ryan wrote:

So you shouldn't bother with your DX10 card unless you have Vista.
