On the economy: Howard will continue to ride the Chinese wave, but if he's smart he'll milk it for all its worth. I don't see any troubles for the economy for the foreseeable future if we continue this way. Rudd will probably do the same, but his instincts for centralization worry me.
On IR: Howard gets a NO. Rudd gets a NO. Work-Choices is bad, but so is the idea of 'Fair Work Australia'.
On the environment: Howard doesn't do anything. Rudd says a lot, but doesn't really do much. I personally can't choose.
Health + Education: Rudd is probably better.
On balance: Can't pick. I'd probably vote for Howard, I dislike Rudd too much.
Johnny is already riding the China boom as if he had something to do with it, the Liberals have been in power for one of the largest booms in Australian history and yet there has been little infrastructure been added by the government and in fact allot of infrastructure we did own has now been sold off. Really selling off the entire communication infrastructure with telsra was a bad move, we should have kept the infrastructure and just sold of telstra then there would have been real competition amongst the telcos.
Rudds instincts for centralisation??????, If you haven't noticed as every single state is controlled by Labour and the Liberal federal government has tried to take control of everything, education, hospitals, water, etc, etc... Johnny has tried to centralise everything.
What can Rudd do, he's in opposition all he can do is "say allot".
Being a gaming site I'll give you the number one reason we (being gamers) should vote for Labour... Rudd want to build faster broadband (maybe even fibre to the node, IE 100+ mbps). The second reason is that he mite make being on the dole easier and then we can all quit our jobs and game 24/7.
