G3 is fine. Its the P90 and MP7 (2 spare clips) that need more if we had to do it for any weapon.

Heh. Imagine they made the P90 like it was in Goldeneye. I could definitely live with shooting through thing walls/objects with a bright orange submachine gun.David.Podedworny wrote:

I laughed out loud when you said that! Do you know how much 15 mags would weigh? Each mag with ammunition in it weighs about 1.5 pounds or more, depending on caliber. That is about 22.5 lbs., way too much weight to be added to everything else a soldier carries.David.Podedworny wrote:
Around 15 and if your in a squad as resupply rifleman you carry alot more.jsnipy wrote:

I think the AT smg's could use more clips too, now that i think about it. Definitely the PP-19 and P90.doctastrangelove1964 wrote:

Pfft, while we're at it, can I get 5 extra SRAWs, too?iPoon.be wrote:

If you're running dry on ammo, there are a few possibilities...David.Podedworny wrote:
I just want to know what you think, I personally say yes! We get only 5 clips on average in our main gun and 8 for the pistol, Am i missing something here? Should'nt the main weapons have more ammo? I mean we all cant be support gunners and have an endless resupply of ammo. I cant tell you how many times i have run dry in the middle of a firefight on ghost, Or how many times i've gotten owned by a guy with a submachine gun cause my main gun ran out. In PR we get 9 clips on average and thats awesome because it forces you to stay alive longer, Not like in reg bf2 where its shoot all your ammo, die, respawn, repeat. Tell me what you guys think.

4? including the 1 that is already in the rifle. 2 extra in the backpack which in total gives 6. In which in Bf2 world the USMC assault with the m16 does have 6 but no the number of magazines is fine ...thats why you have support and ammo bags DUR!jsnipy wrote:

Uh no i saw it in blackhawk down one of the guys had 14 spare clips in body armor pockets. And the one guy who was resupply had a bag that held alot more.specops10-4 wrote:

9 M4 mags=270 rounds
15 M4 mags=450 rounds! That is way too much.
PR is correct, you and BF2 are wrong.
Yeah that is true the amount of sidearm ammo should reduced, whilst increasing main weapon by a couple of mags maybe...RedTwizzler wrote:
Apx. 15 from what I've heard, but I don't think that's the main point of the thread.jsnipy wrote:

I think the OP is trying to point out the stupidity of carrying 8 spare clips for your sidearm and yet only 4 (usually) for your main weapon.
Well i do suck with the m16 on burst mode but overall my hit rate is average. And i only reload when i have less then 7 rounds.mtb0minime wrote:

I play on ghost alot there are very few support soldiers everyone likes to use the l85 and g3 for some reason, I'm only posting this since with the g36k i cant hit shit and it takes 3 bursts to kill a guy. But with the g36e,l85,g3, and ak101 my hit reg is good.mtb0minime wrote:
If that isn't the case, then it's not hard to find ammo packs lying on the ground or find a support soldier. And even if you can't and you are just teh ownzor and waste everyone and your ammo can't keep up with you, then surely someone you've killed was a support soldier, in which case you take their pack, throw some ammo, and then switch back. And if no one you play against is support, then you must be playing on a super small server with hardly any people on it, in which case refer to my 2 cases above.
That's cuz the G36k sucks. Use the C, it pwns the K.David.Podedworny wrote:

I'm trying to get more spec ops times since i dont have the c unlocked i use the k.doctastrangelove1964 wrote:

Lol i like that +1 gonna use it for my sig.Vernedead wrote:

Well he had a hell of a lot of magazines... The normal soldier carries about 9 magazines, and if you don't beleive me, well then go fuck yourself. It is not an opinion, but a fact like 1+1=2.David.Podedworny wrote:

Exactly. 5.56 and especially 7.72 rounds are heavy, you can't have 6+ mags on you at all times. Pistol mags, however, while people may not carry 6, are still much lighter and easier to carry.jsnipy wrote:

well, I can drop two or three with an assault rifile mag easily, so ammo has never been an issue, only with the P-90 have i really felt pressed for ammo, since it takes a 30 bullet spray to bring down someone.updawg wrote:
No. It usually takes me an entire magazine to kill a person as Anti Tank though.
Definately agree!Snake wrote:

Dude wtf? Go fuck myself? Why are you being such an asshole? I was young when i saw that movie allright it showed 15 so i thought 15 was the average number.specops10-4 wrote:
