Over night a coal ship has run a ground on Nobby's Beach in Newcastle where I live. Here is the news link:

It is absolutely surreal. The weather over the past few days (in particular today and overnight) reminds me of the movie "the day after tomorrow" for some reason. I live in the CBD and all i've been hearing is sirens. Very crazy stuff. Anyway, I just thought I'd show you all whats been happening. Hopefully you find it interesting.
