As long as we richer more developed countries block Africa's right to trade on a level par with the rest of us and dont make concerted efforts to force regime change and inject funds to kick start their economies, they will keep coming and keep trying and I wouldn't blame them, especially when their TV screens are filled with western culture in all its shiny Glory.
I couldnt agree more. I know I Bosnia foreign products and companies are ruthlessly eliminating domestic production. How can a new drinks company compete with Coca Cola or Red Bull when they have millions to spend on advertising ? Not to mention the very low prices. Two liter bottle of Cola costs around 60 cents (3 times cheaper than in Austria). Can of RedBull is 50 cents.
Oranges all the way from California are cheaper then domestic oranges and whats even worse, none of the HUGE stores hold any domestic froot/vegetables because they are foreign owned.
Dont even think about starting production of any type of electronics like TVs, computers, DVDs, cars etc.
And as JahManRed said, TV screens are filled with western culture in all its shiny glory. People in the west are rich, happy, they have "stuff", they are not hungry... but if some one decides he had enough of it and decides to move to that glorious West he cant. How is that fair ?
