What's your top price range?
What are your previous three phones?
Which one were you most happy with, and why?
Do you want contract or pay as you go?
If contract, with which provider?
Answer these, and then I may be able to help you.
Price doesn't matter
Nokia 7210 ,Nokia 6600 then a Samsung Z320i (Although I like Samsung, that phone was shite)
I was most happy with the 6600, although it was a brick it had great features for its time. Something slimmer would be nice though.
Contract is preferable.
I usually go with o2 but I am open to suggestions.
Thank you.
I would suggest you look at the new Ultra II range from Samsung. Phones such as the sliders U600 & U700, put against their older cousins such as the D900 and sexily-thin X820 showcase the best of Samsung. If you want a really thin phone that isn't a slider or clamshell, then I may suggest the U100 (thinnest phone in the world). All of these Samsungs have great cameras (I believe they are all 3mp and above, but don't hold me to that).
Beyond Samsung, I'd look at a few Sony Ericssons such as the K800i. You'll be paying above the odds for them, however, and I prefer the Samsung UI. Also, since you've had a Samung and two Nokias before, you may be more suited to a Samsung.
The only Nokia I'd recommend at the moment is the N95 - do you want a phone with great data speeds (HSDPA & wi-fi)? If so, the Samsing's will do a good job (some of them), but the N95 would be only phone to truly consider.
Don't even think about a Motorola.
I'd think about Orange from my own experience - absolutely love the company. If you have other friends on Orange as well, all the better.
Hope this helps,
All the best,
Andy
