I've got a user who is using a Intel Core Mac with Photoshop CS2 and is unable to open .jpg files in Photoshop. When he attempts to open the .jpg file the program doesn't lock but displays the "busy" icon when you scroll over the header bar. I re-installed photoshop and it worked fine for about a day and started doing it again. Any ideas as to what could cause this?
INFO:
Intel Core MAC running OSX.
Photoshop--latest version.
All .jpg files are set to open in Photoshop by default.
MAC is a tower, not a laptop.
Re-installation did not work.
Drivers are current. (as far as I can tell)
I am an uber noob when it comes to MAC's so I don't know my right ass cheek from the left on this issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.
