Maps that are effected by playing time and weather.
Let's say Warlord. It starts out before dawn the glow of burning wrecks, street lights, interior building lights. SAS parachuting to the first flag in the dark, the Mec forces scrambling to take them in the dark, then as the dawn comes with the playing of the game the hidden sniping spots and advancing troops become visible. With the right timing say 1/3 of the map in darkness, the round could sway from one teams favor to the other.
Add some weather effects say a quick rain burst or some dust bowls from the wind and you've got a map that is not static. It would always change, making it more playable for all.
