1 law I would change is if you have a concealed carry permit then you can carry on school grounds
I agree for the most part, although I would suggest that allowing tasers on campus would make more sense than allowing guns.  This way, you can tell the psycho from the other people.  An air taser is just as effective as a gun, but you do have to get closer to someone to use it.

As for society outside of school campuses, I see no problem with allowing concealed weapons.

OUT OF CONTROL MY ARSE  all of the guns use were illegal and obtained illegelaly! the retarded gonad it question was a complete nut job off epic preportions that had come 2 the attension of the so called authorities a heap of times but nothing was dun. the intire incident was a balls up that could of and should of been stoped hours earlier than when it ended. the end result, 35 dead(many should have been saved) and more regulation of legal,law abiding AND SANE people who enjoy shooting and hunting reponsibly!! (and i dont mean hunting people! unless they're dropin gheymines;)

The problem is that not all poor people are the same. As with all people, they are not that simple - every group has a large diversity. I personally know quite a few people here in Switzerland (immigrants, at that) who work their asses off to pay for the wellbeing of their kids.
And believe it or not, there are poor people in Switzerland - not as poor as in some countries though.

While I agree with the above, the hard part is differentiating the poor that actually strives for a break and a better lifestyle and the lazy bums. My family is probably, a little below average, but works hard to keep a relatively normal standard of living. It's been harder now since my dad got injured, but its still not that bad. I'm sure that other families are in a pinch also, and might need some help; that's the only reason I realize that small doles and handouts are at least helping some families. Even if we are feeding the lazy ones, at least some of the hard working ones are benefiting.

Ok, before all the pro-gun lot go running around trying to show how this proves that banning guns is a bad idea here's a few things to consider:

Although some guns are banned, private ownership of the SMGs, assault rifles etc. is entirely widespread throughout the population largely as a result of the recent wars there. As far as I know handguns, shotguns, hunting rifles are all legal there. This is closer to the American situation than the typical European one.

All this really proves is that there are crazy people everywhere, even in Europe.

Oh, and Dunblane occurred while many firearms such as handguns were legal, it was the catalyst for the banning of almost all civilian ownership of firearms. There have been no massacres since then.

If everyone carried a gun it's a hell of a lot less likely that the nuts would either (a) break theirs out because they'd know it was suicide, or (b) have much success with them because once the first shot went off half a dozen people would be dropping off rounds into their asses.

You never see anyone go ballistic at an NRA meeting. You know why? First sound of a gunfire and he'd be looking down the business end of a fucking arsenal.

Move to Mexico if you don't want to help the less fortunate.  There are various Third World nations that don't have much in terms of social programs, and I'm sure you'd love to live there if you knew their languages.

Of course, you may also find that societies this callous also have problems with other public amenities like drinking water, but hey, you could easily afford a lifetime supply of bottled water with all the money you'll be saving in taxes.

If you plan to stay in America, I suggest you gain some sense of compassion.
