Nah, not that frustrated, I like commanding (I am not the best and if I have a bad team that loves camping I will resign) but I confess that if I don't hear the constant bleep of an UAV, I will complain and eventually mutiny. That US commander on Wake cost the us the round, we had a great team though.
It always feels good to have a good commander who's monitoring the battle closely, kinda like having your personal angel watching over your shoulders. Even an average commander who commands 100% isn't too bad coz he can respond quickly, that few seconds can be life or death.
Rellim83 - I respectfully disagree with you on this. The Commanding role in BF2 is an awesome one, it's not the arti strike, nor the supply, it's the ability to see the entire MAP at all levels. You get to see enemy movement and ultimately enemy intention. The main role of a commander I feel is INTEL, and intel holds the key in winning the game at it's highest levels. With VOIP, you can warn the team about enemy movement, and suggest withdrawal or even flanking maneuvers. Btw, it's different from spamming 'ENEMY SPOTTED'. I learnt that the hard way.
I can go on and on about this, coz I love the commander job but enough said, INTEL is why commanding is a 100% job.
