yeah, actually there is a story behind the names. This is not actually our first baby. Unfortunately, we lost our first daughter, Claire Elizabeth, in her 7th month of pregnancy. Everything was going well until my wife got appendicitis and had to undergo emergency surgery. For the month after the operation my wife did not gain any weight, and everything went wrong with the baby. Eventually we went to an ultrasound and the doctor told us that the baby was dead. They had to induce labor, and because we were in the third trimester we actually had to bury our daughter in a cemetery and buy a headstone and everything. It was extremely hard on my wife. She felt as though somehow it had been her fault...Ty wrote:
Congratulations man!
I reckon Grace sounds a bit better. Madeline is a very soft name as is Claire, it's kind of good to have a soft name paired with a "stronger" name. That is only my opinion of course.
Any story behind the names chosen?

I would opt for Claire after having read your story.
