I just upgraded my system from a amd 3800x2 to a Q6600 with 4gigs of ram and a 8800gt sc. Ive been looking around to see the latest scores compared to my system cuz im unable to find another one to compare mine with on 3dmark. I got a score of 13086 with a stock EVGA 8800gt sc set from factory at 650mhz. I slightly overclocked the cpu from 2.4 to 2.7. I wish I could post a pic of the scores but I dont know how to save the page as an image to post it on here. Someone show me how so we can post others up aswell. Thx.

I want to print the whole page, wont let me send it as a link. You need to be a little more clear on how to do it please.

I got around 14000 when I first received my Q6600, 4Gb RAM, 8800GTX system. Your result sounds about right.

Not sure what I'd get now I have overclocked the q6600 to ~3.4Ghz, and added another EVGA 8800GTX OC'd. I don't actually have the patience to sit through all of those tedious demo tests again, and I was only curious the first-time round as my system was delivered with a CD-copy of 3DMark06 Pro.

Have fun with the new system, it's a beast of a set-up .

Cool thx. Compared to the scores I used to get, this card does look like a beast.

But.. but.. your guys score is determined by your quad core right I score 11530 with my 8800GTX in combination with 4GB ddr2 pc6400 and E6850..

PC2-6400 isn't the best RAM you can have, so that will detract a little.

The processor test is minimally different to be honest, the Processor-element of 3DMark06 managed to reduce my framerate down to 2-5fps constant, sometimes even 0-1fps (this was a Q6600 @ stock speeds). I wouldn't be surprised even if my supercooled overclocked Q6600 got the same performance. It's really an ass breaker.

Maybe another thing that affects it is your Operating System? I'm using Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and manage to get a system-rating of 5.9 out of 6.0. My biggest let-down are my storage / hard-drives. I have the highest-quality SATA drives, but I went more for sheer storage capacity over performance. No Raptors or Raid0 configurations for me!

Edit: Also occured to me that there are finer points such as whether or not you have overclocked your RAM, or tuned up the latency settings. I have 4Gb of PC2-8500 running at over 1000Mhz, with very tight timings. Also, the manufacturer and tech-specs on your 8800GTX will maybe affect things a little. If you've got one running at a slower clock speed, then my best guess is that it performs (minimally) worse than my EVGA 8800GTX's.

I have the same OS, a score of 5.9 (although my CPU is 5.4 or something) on all components.

Im curious what you would get with your sli setup. Run a 3dmark06 again please, it only takes like 12 minutes with our cpu and 4 gigs of ram. I have XP pro though.  Maybe it will run even quicker cuz u have better ram than me, I have dd2800(pc6400).

That score is about right.  Here is my score.  Don't pay attention to the CPU clock speed.  Like many other CPU utils it doesn't read the speed right.  The CPU was actually clocked around 2.93GHz.
