What do you guys think? Will this allow us to play Crysis on all max settings without any flaws?

Lol, Havok, i know a sweet black bro with that name.
I highly doubt the optimization will be as successful as you think. I would expect no more than 5 more frames per second if this patch actually optimizes it. An 8600 will never max Crysis.GodFather wrote:

I bet you that people are going to spend like 1500 on cards and sys upgrades to run crysis at high, then Crysis will put an optimization patch out and 8600's will run it at very high... wouldnt that suck
but they actually are coming out with a patch that is supposed to optimize so we will see how the requirements change
37.9? Jesus. That'd be fucking awesome.
And they're also going to make a patch that will upgrade the graphics, just like with far cry. They left some of the highest shaders out 'cos no one would be able run them yet with the current hardware.GodFather wrote:

i run it on a qx6700@3.4 and sli 8800gtx's @1920x1200 and i only get 25 fpsLawdy_ wrote:
I can run Crysis on its highest settings even the highest AA, with one 8800GT, and a quad, because crysis is optimized for core 2 quad and core 2 extreme. or maybes it that i just have a 13 inch CRT monitor at 1024x768 resoultion on DX10 and i get just under 30 frames aswell, and it runs fine except sometime it crashes lol maybe thats a bad thing, im going to get the new 780i when it comes out and get another GT or another two :-)
Thats good:) i wish i had sli, but ill get there in the new year,i think i only get 28fps because i have a small monitor, thats going to change when i get a 24 inch~{TPP}~richoxon wrote:
