budget: $2000 US
i need help choosing parts
- looking to be upgradeable in the future, being able to accept new technologies
here are some that i like:
case: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail $119 -has good reviews and great cooling
mobo: GIGABYTE GA-X38-DQ6 LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Ultra Durable 2, Ultra Cooling Intel Motherboard - Retail $294.99 -reveiws say its - stable and good for over clocking. Tell me if you have any other recommendations.
video card EVGA 512-P3-N841-A3 GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 HDCP Ready SLI Supported - Retial $359.99
- i hear its one of the best cards out there. Might go SLI if there is enough money. If not this will do until the 9 series.
PSU: OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI ATX12V 700W Power Supply - Retail $134.99 -has good reviews
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor Model BX80562Q6600 - Retail $279.99 -look like the best cpu for the price
RAM: CORSAIR Dominator 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-8500C5D - Retail $169.00 - is there good quality brand ram at this speed but cheaper

- hard drive: looking for a well rounded drive for gaming and performance. Name good brands. Might be looking for 2 (one for gaming other for storage
- Sound card: i dont know what to look for, but do i really need one? help me
-After market cooling: recommendations please
-keyboard: not sure. looking for quality
-mouse: already have a G5 and its awesome
