I have that same mobo still, and it's a terrible piece of shit. The SATA chipsets don't work. I have two 10k Rpm raptor drives that are collecting dust, the onboard audio failed a few weeks after i got the board, and the northbridge fan burnt up (notorious for that).
But I do have two GTx 7800s, so that's pretty sweet
I've had 8 A8N chipset mobos. All but one of them ran perfectly, the one that didn't had firmware issues and was RMA'd almost immediately - though I have been a victim of uber-long Asus RMA times in the past for an FX5800 I returned (I got a full refund after 8 months use - but they didn't give me it for 18 months, nor did they ever tell me I was going to be refunded, I just got chunk of money paid to me by Asus).GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Unstable voltages. yes, 0.5v is quite dramatic shock for PC hardware.
Asus support failed.
RMA didn't help.
and the last thing that forced me upgrade my rig completely: It blew up two of my PSUs. one 750w and one 380w.
Asus support forums is full of similar horror stories with this board. you are a lucky guy elbekko...

Don't use the hardware firewall on it though, it'll corrupt 90% of things you download through it.
