It has a DVI connector thingybuLLet_t00th wrote:
If it hasn't got a HDMI input or component inputs then no, and it also depends what graphics card you have.
It all depends, I think some Blu-Ray drives and the Blu Ray disks themselves require HDCP which is an encryption system, I don't think you can use that over DVI. 8800GTS will be fine at processing the content.ELITE-UK wrote:

lol It is a player for the PC how are you going to connect the player with HDMI.Aries_37 wrote:
Attach player to your gfx card using a HDMI to DVI converter , gfx card connects to monitor via DVI.
I think that might work :S
actually both 1280x720 and 1920x1080 are considered HDmenzo2003 wrote:
not fully
HD is 1920 x 1080
and you monitor can do 1680 x 1050
Right, but would you rather watch HD in 720 lines or 1080?jaymz9350 wrote:

yeah 1080 is better but honestly i don't think you'd notice much difference on a 20" monitor.BlackKoala wrote:

/me signs up for the latter.
Got a 20" and there is a huge differencejaymz9350 wrote:

There wouldn't be much difference as a 1680 x 1050 monitor will only display the highest vertical resolution being 945. (Assuming wide screen HD-DVD)bf2gammer wrote:

anything scaled on an LCD will suck pretty much.elbekko wrote:
HD scaled down is still better than HD Ready scaled up
